A US Army U-60 Blackhawk helicopter coming into land on a rooftop in the village of Yaka Chinaa, as US military personnel and conflict journalists wait at the bottom of a ladder to climb aboard. Afghan National Army and 2nd Platoon, Battle Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade personnel have been conducting searches following an incident where a US Army AH-64 Apache helicopter fired on an Afghan civilian house killing five people, including a woman and two children. 2nd Platoon are taking part in Operation Rock Avalanche: an operation which aimed to draw out insurgents, disrupt weapons supplies, and capture or kill key Taliban/insurgent leaders.
