Commissioned as part of the scheme for "War Pictures by Native-born Colonial artists", 1941 it was not photographed or exhibited in the war years.  In front of a large barn-like building with a striking red roof a queue of Ugandan civilian men coming from the left wait their turn to enter the building. On the right two men are shaking hands and in the foreground two civilians walk confidently away past a medical orderly walking with a stick.
